Greetings!
Welcome to the headquarters of the Lost Somewhere Adventuring Guild! Here you will find the basic information about our guild's current dealings regarding various games. While much of the information found here will remain relatively static over time, the branch and membership details will be updated as appropriate.
Regardless of which specific game we play we do so as casual gamers looking to enjoy the content and mechanics (PVE and PVP)of said game. While we may schedule events, such as get-togethers, dungeon crawls, PVP, or in-game celebrations, we will never be anywhere close to the typical "raiding" guild. We don't require tests of loyalty, the rights to your first born (maaaybe the third...), or embarrassing stories to keep you in line.
Having said all that, the core group of LS are all adults and the atmosphere can easily be defined as mature. As such we ask that all members be at 18 years of age to avoid any unpleasantries. Specific content will be gated to ensure that if there any members who don't wish to partake they won't be forced to.
As you will see below in the Branches and Membership sections, we utilize Discord Servers for the dissemination of dynamic content (such as announcements and events) and communication.
Branches
Due to the utilization of the Lost Somewhere Adventuring Guild name and idea for multiple games it was decided that the concept of guild branches would be used to designate the different games/groups. All games the LS Guild is currently playing will be considered a branch of HQ, or the main body. Additionally, each branch will have it's own Discord server. This was done so that we didn't have multiple websites (true, we could have just not made them, but I'm OCD about websites so yea), members of LS could pick which branch(es) (games) they wished to join, and so that our Discord Username/Nickname rules would be logical.
Furthermore, depending upon the specific game, or those involved, some of the listed branches will be considered private and invite only. Private branches mostly fall under the purview of the "core members" (those that have been around together in some form for over 20 years) that wish to showcase their work or have limited members for whatever reason.
Each branch Discord server will have its own public and private areas where all the rules, application process, and description will be provided. Once you are considered a member of a branch the private areas will be unlocked.
